These photographs came out of a one-year project by Peter to cover police-oriented activism in San Jose for the indybay.org website. He published articles and photos on the San Jose Main Jail, treatment of the mentally ill by the San Jose Police, and the trial of State Bureau of Narcotics Agent Michael Walker for manslaughter in the slaying of Rudy Cardenas.
